Kevin I am planning for my December 2008 trip, just so you know. :lmao: :lmao: .

I had forgotten how close POFQ was to FW. I was concerned about depending on the internal bus. When I was looking at the map for FW I saw the boat came in really close to Pioneer Hall. That was my original logic. So at this point I think I will leave POFQ at 7:30. I can't wait to ride a Segway through FW.

The boat the runs CR/FW/WL starts at 6:45am and runs until at least 10pm every day (weather permitting). The entire circle is about 20 minutes. There are generally 2 boats running (1 clockwise 1 counter clockwise). The walk to Pioneer Hall is just a few minutes.

Hope this helps.

We did the FW Segway Tour in September and loved it. Just to let you know it is a little tricky to find. You go behind Pioneer Hall, past the Pavillion and it is the next building. We were told it was behind the hall but it is farther back than we thought. The tires are larger for off road riding- and it was great going on the pathways around the campground and over to the Wilderness Lodge. Enjoy!!

If you are driving from your resort, the quickest way would be to drive to Fort Wilderness, park in the lot at the Outpost after going through the gate, then board any of the internal buses that say Settlement ( they all go to the same stop). The buses run every ten minuets. This will be much faster then taking a boat and the Settlement bus stop is about the same walk as the boat would be.
