Getting to Florida Mall

Please forgive me if this is not the forum to post this topic. I debated on "Orlando attractions" but not sure if a shopping mall is an attraction, for my wife dw I think it would be


I'm looking at heading to the Florida Mall while we are staying at WDW (We'll be at POFQ and BW which bookend a Disney Cruise). I was wondering what is the best way to get to the Florida Mall.

I'd probably prefer the likes of a taxii or towncar to a bus but happy to take a bus if that si the best option. Also if anyone has any idea of price thatw ould eb much appreciated.

We stayed at AKL and we just took a taxi to Florida Mall and also to Mall at Mallenia (something like that) We ended up taking the bus to Downtown Disney, then a taxi from there as it chopped about $15 off the taxi fare each way (so saved $30).

Good idea about heading to DTD. Being at POFQ the idea of catching the boat down to DTD and then off to the mall sounds very inviting.

Of the 2 malls you mentioned which one would you recommend if you were only going to go to one?

As shopping is a VERY important part of our holidays to the USA, I did spend a bit of time shopping on our last trip to WDW . My first choice would be Mall at Millenia. The outlet malls (Prime and Premium outlet malls, one of which is quite close to WDW) are good too.

Here is the website for mall at Millenia and Florida Mall so you (or your wife) can have a look at the shops to see which you prefer. Mall at Millenia was just a much better mall with better shops in our opinion. Florida Mall was still good though, but if I had the choice of only one, it would be Mall at Millenia (although I would have to go to both ).
