Hi All,

This spring break my girlfriend and I are taking a visit to Disneyland. I've been to WDW several times but have never experienced Disneyland. We will be staying with family in the community of Diamond Bar, California. I've checked mapquest and its estimated time is about 25 minutes. I have never experienced southern California traffic before and I don't know what to expect but I want to be at the park plenty early. Does anyone have an idea about a realistic time estimate from Diamond Bar to Disney so I can give myself enough time? Thanks!

I've made that drive a number of times from Pomona which is about 10 minutes away from Diamond Bar. Depending on when you leave in the morning you may hit some rush hour traffic. If you are looking to be there be rope drop I would add in an extra 10-15 minutes just to be on the safe side and you will also need to factor in time to park your car. But that time is fairly accurate IMO.

From Diamond Bar heading to Disneyland you are definitely going in the direction of the typical morning traffic. I would recommend leaving an hour before the park opens. If you arrive early no big deal because you can grab a cup of coffee, something to eat or do a little shopping before the rope drops. Enjoy your trip.
