I'm very confused how to get to Disneyland from Seaworld. I've seen lots of transportation FROM Disneyland, but not one way from Sea World only. I'd rather not rent a car, but will if it is my only choice.

We are flying into San Diego and spending a few days, at the end of our Sea World day we need to get to the Disneyland Hotel. Thanks for your help.

We are doing the same thing as you. We are renting a car though for our whole trip so we will be driving. I have never heard of transportation other than a cab to get you to Disneyland from Sea World...but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

You can take Amtrak for about $20 (children should be cheaper) one-way.

It's a 2 hour scenic ride along the coast.

The Anaheim Amtrak station is less than 2 miles from Disneyland.

I highly recommend this. We took Amtrak from Union Station in LA to San Diego. Stayed there 2 nights, took the Amtrak from San Diego to Anaheim. Took a cab from the train station to Paradise Pier. It was a fairly short cab ride. One of the highlights of our whole Calfornia trip was the train ride. Also, if you have AAA you can do a search online for a AAA code, we saved quite a bit by using a code. It was a lovely ride, and we got to relax for a couple of hours, which we desperately needed at that point in our trip.

I don't know about codes, but if you're a AAA member and indicate that while booking, you get 10% off if you're booking in advance.

Kids under 2 are generally free, and plain old kids are usually...hmm, half-fare, I think? (I'm talking in general, I don't have specific knowledge about that particular route)

And if you are AAA members, be sure to say that any kids are AAA kids, too (just means kids of AAA members) to get any discount off of THEIR rate, too!

While you're at SeaWorld, be sure to catch the "Pets Rule!" show. Very very cute, made both of our days there worth it (and we'd already seen the dolphin and Shamu shows).

We did this as well.

If you will have a car, I suggest printing Mapquest maps to your destinations before leaving home. That's what I do every trip and it's saved us so many times.

We have driven to SD from DL for the day, and we plan to again this time as we always get a car when we get to SNA. It is a pretty easy drive, we take the PCH and enjoy the ride. Using amtrack sounds good too though if you didn't want to get a car. Anyone know how long the train ride is? Isn't the train station in Anaheim near Angels Stadium? Angels Staduim is just down Katella from DL.

well, we did this too years ago, and unless they moved the station, it is by Angel staduim :)
