Getting to Discovery Cove from BCV

I posted this on the Sea World/Discovery Cove board, but have yet to get any replies. So since this board gets more traffic I'll ask here too.

We booked Discovery Cove for our family for this upcoming December on a Weds. We are staying at BCV. The directions on the DC website say something about taking I-4 around to get there. Now, I have read nothing but bad reports on driving on I-4 and given that we are supposed to be there between 8am and 9am, I imagine that this is still in the morning rush.

So my question is for those who have done DC or Orlando natives...is this really the best way? I think I could go International Drive, but that might be just as bad with all the stoplights.

So what's the best way to get there?

Oh, I can help here.
Go to Crossroads Square, take a left, go about one half mile, take a right on Palm parkway, follow that until you see signs for Seaworld, take a right at the lights, follow that and Discovery Cove is on the right. You totally avoid I4.
