We have an ADR for 8 AM for the Character Breakfast at the Cape May Cafe. We're staying at the Grand Floridian. What is the best way to get to the Disney Beach Club from the Grand Floridian at that time of the morning?

Is Taxi the most efficient or are there Character Breakfast buses running to the Beach Club?

Thanks!

If there is a park with early opening that day go there then take the bus to Beachclub.

Busses start running an hour before park openings. From MGM, you can walk to BC but it will take you a few minutes. Epcot would be much closer, but you would have to be able to go through the park. When we needed to go from resort to resort early, I asked at the front desk and they were happy to help me figure out where to go.

Enjoy your breakfast!! That was my DD16's favorite meal. We ate breakfast there twice in three days! It is a wonderful "hidden" WDW treasure!!!

If MGM is having an early entry day, your best bet is to take the bus to MGM and walk to BC. (you could take the boat from MGM but walking would be faster.

If MGM opens at 9Am that day, be out at the bus stop between 7 amd 7:10. Get on the MGM bus and tell the driver you need to get to the BC for breakfast. He will drop you off at the BC after dropping off the MGM passengers.

Taxi will be the easiest. No having to worry about a bus coming or walking, etc.

We always take taxis from resort to resort. You get to your destination in about 10 minutes or less. Taking a bus to get to another bus to get to your adr is not worth it to us and it takes way too long. We have learned the hard way and the taxi is just so much easier and less stressful. JMO

Bus to MGM and then walk is the free way. Taxi would be easiest but probably cost $15.

there is a character bus - but it goes to the parks.

that say the buses will be running that early (an hour before openning) so you will be fine.

the boat should be running too. although most of the time it is quicker to walk.

would ride the bus to studios. before it gets there, when you get on the bus. tell the bus drivers where you want to go. Sometimes he can take you to the front of the BC - just depends upon his schedule and the controllers.

We did the Cape May Cafe Breakfast and it was one of our favorites. We took a bus to MK and then a bus to BC. The driver took us to the front door. BTW the walk from MGM to BC was pretty long in my opinion. So if you have little ones you will definitly need a stroller and plenty of time to get there.

Dont chance it, take a cab

Cape May is awesome by the way and the early time is perfect for a quiet morning with great character interaction

The CM told us to take the monorail to Magic Kingdom and transfer to bus heading to Beach Club. That may not work for you with an 8am. Buses only run 1hr prior to opening. So check which park opens early and go there and transfer to Beach Club.

Went to Cape May Breakfast Buffet in September. We had 8:00 reservations. We slept in and took a taxi from CBR, they picked us up at 7:30, we were there by 7:40, walked around the resort and was seated at 8:00am. The best $12.00 I spent that day, worth the money. The taxi left us off at the lobby of BC and Cape May is off to the right.

Check in with your guest services/concierge desk at your resort. Let them know your character dining time and they will let you know what time the 'character dining' bus will be coming by. Disney has this bus service for those guests who have early morning dining reservations.

I would recommend taking a taxi for the quickest trip over though.

Thanks for all of the responses. We'll probably take a taxi since its the shortest trip (can always enjoy those extra few minutes of sleep!!).

Our party is 3 adults and 1 2yr old. Do the taxis have car seats or can we request one? (or do they just let you old the toddler for the short resort to resort rides?)

Thanks!:confused3
