Getting to and From Universal from WDW

Spouse and I are going to WDW in both late February and late March. We are thinking about going to Universal for one day to see the Harry Potter attraction. We are staying at OKW in Feb and Bay Lake Tower in March. No car. What's the best way to get to and from Universal. We don't mind using a bus and would prefer it over a taxi. If a taxi is the only option, does anyone have an idea as to how much it would cost for the trip to and from?

Mears runs a shuttle. You need to reserve at least a day in advance, and it's about $20 per person round trip. Call the operator from your room and ask to be connected to Mears. They'll tell you where and when to wait for the shuttle; the driver will give you a voucher for the return trip. You'll also have the option to set up a return time - all the way until CityWalk closes - or to call two hours before you want to head back to WDW.

It cost us about $40 each way from AKL Kidani Village to Universal Studios. Well worth the money IMO. I didn't want to have to wait on a shuttle, organize my day around shuttle times, be on a shuttle with a bunch of people. It really worked out great for us.
