Getting to a dinner show

We are thinking of going to see the Hoop De Doo show. We are staying at the Coronado. What is the best way to get there? Would we have to go to one of the theme parks and then get the bus to the hotel closest to the show? Which would be Fort Wilderness I believe. Is the Magic Kingdom closest to this?

Best way is a taxi. Best WDW transportation way is get to a park and then transfer. Sorry, I don't know which resort that dinner show is at to help you. If it is FW then, yes, MK is closest.

Probably the quickest way to get to HDD would be by taxi. But, using Disney transportation? Then yes, you would need to take the bus from CSR to any park or DTD (which would be way out of your way) and then take another bus or boat to FW. Personally, I would probably take the bus to MK and then the water launch to FW just because I find it so unique.

HDDR is in the Fort Wilderness Campground.

If you went to the MK the preferred way to get to FW is to take the small boat that goes from the MK to FW and then its a short walk.

After the show you can take the boat back to MK and then to your resort.

For the late show, they usually have buses outside the theater that will take you back to your resort. You may have to share the ride with other resorts, but its still faster than going back to the MK, particularly at closing.

I to vote for bus to mk, then boat to fw. Pioneer hall where they have hddr is a short walk from the dock. if you take a taxi to fw, you still need to take an internal bus to pioneer hall unless the taxi will drive all the way through the campground.

I'm pretty sure that the taxi will not be allowed past the front parking lot.

FW discourages all driving around the resort.

I had heard that only the late show has these buses and they have then because the MK may be closed or by the time they got to the MK bus stops the park would be closing and it would take forever to get back to your resort.

I think it may depend on time of year. Two weeks ago there were signs indicating buses were available after the 7xx and 9xx shows.

I stay at Ft. Wilderness all the time, and the sign stating that bus transportation is provided to the resorts after the 7xx and the 9xx Hoop De Doo sits there all the time.

This service is offered every night regardless of MK closing time.

Taxis are not allowed to go through the campground. They drop you at the front parking lot, so a bus through the campground will be required.

Thanks everyone. We are staying the week after T-giving so probably an off peak time, so the MK will probably be closed. We will be going to the early show since we have kids along.
