Getting to 8:30 Segway Tour

I just realized that the segway tour that my husband is doing starts at 8:30, but the park opens at 9. I heard the buses start running about an hour before park opening time, which wont be enough time. How will we get to Epcot for the tour? I would assume that we'd need to be there by at least 8:15 for the tour. We have an early morning breakfast at Chef Mickeys, so we'll need to come from the Contemporary to Epcot. Thanks for any ideas you have.

uh oh no replies. Does that mean no one knows how I can get there?

I believe the buses start running about 7:30. I have no experience of getting to Epcot before park opening but I know when we had PS for CP at 8:05, we had no trouble getting to MK in plenty of time.

We took the early Segway tour too. We were staying at BWV so we just walked to the international gateway and the CM had our name on a list and let us in. So you can definately get in on time, but I'm not sure what time the buses start arriving at EPCTOT.

We took the bus from POFQ for the 8:30 tour. We cut it close (we were the last in our class to arrive) but we were not late. It was March, so I don't remember what time exactly we got on the bus, but it was running and that's what we did.

You could get a taxi if you are really concerned

If you are at the Contemporary, you can monorail to the TTC then board the Epcot monorail. We did this just a few weeks ago, we did the Future World tour. You should have no problem, the monorail runs before the buses do.
