Hello,
I really want to go to WDW for a few days after I graduate Middle School with my grandparents. They got a brand new camper and barely used it 26 ft. pull type.FW seems really nice from what we've seen,it also seemed to me a cheap(er) alternative to staying at a hotel for three days...until grandpa started talking gas.How much do you think it would take cost wise?!Looking on Mapquest, where we live is like 950 miles away. Also does a pulling a camper slow you down a lot? we can usually get to my great grandma's at about 9:00 PM(if we leave at 1 AM),it's an hour and 30 min away from WDW.
Any idea would be great!Thanks!

While camping is not always a cheaper alternative anymore, it use to be but I will tell you for what I'm paying to stay at the fort, I could have stayed cheaper at Pop or Movies or Music ,but to us it's a whole lot more fun..plus we can bring our pet. As for does a camper slow you down driving, I think it just all depends on what your towing with. Our 3500 Silverado will fly but we have to take it slower for safety reasons, it usually takes us about 10 hours to get to florida, with our tt it takes us about 13 hours, we just naturally take it easier.

Depending on your mileage you will pay about $300 to $500 for gas. I live about 975 miles away and the trip takes about 17 - 18 hours including stops for gas and food.

Thanks! It's confermed what my grandpa said!
