Getting the Palo Lunch Reservation late in the game

Just booked a cruise that is 60ish days out. Obviously all the Palo Brunch's are sold out already.

Is it like booking a DDR where you can constantly check leading up to the cruise and hopefully find one or am I stuck waiting to embarkation day and hoping to get a reservation? TIA.

You can keep checking. You may luck into availability before your cruise. But if you don't find one before you cruise, make that your top priority on embarkation day.

We got on pretty close to departure time and still got a Palo brunch reservation.

For your best chance, I'd recommend boarding earlier. I think the line for Palo reservations opens at 12:30.

Check the Navigator that you will be handed when checking in the terminal. It will list the exact time and location for Palo dining reservations.

We booked The Dream 8 days before we sailed in May of this year, of course no Palo available at that point.
I went down to Animator's Palate 30 minutes before they open to get in line to hopefully make a reservation. There was 1 family in front of us and we got a 12pm time slot no issues.
I was surprised when we went to the brunch, there were many empty tables.

Keep checking but don't worry too much... Your chances are good if you ask again on embarkation day.
