Okay, let set the background and help me make a decision for our last 1TS option:

Staying at Kidani Village.
Travelling with DS3.
Hubby & I enjoy our steaks...

1. Coral Reef
2. Turf Club
3. Sanaa Dinner
4. Le Cellier (2nd time) for lunch, we already have dinner resv'd, but a 2nd meal there wouldn't hurt. :rotfl:

Let the fun begin...:cheer2:
TIA

:cool1: Turf Club on the lead....Wow, I didn't realize that this place is that good and definitely a hidden gem! Even worth giving up a 2nd meal at LC .

Haven't tried Sanaa, but can definitely recommend Turf Club. It was so much better than we thought it would be since we haven't heard a whole lot about it.

In spite of all the mixed reviews...Coral Reef is still on the lead, with Sanaa now trailing behind.:yay:
Wow, and Le Cellier 2nd meal for lunch last....really?!

Any more votes...popcorn::

I dont eat fish, but I thought Coral Reef was actually pretty good. Sanaa is a great choice as well

My vote is to get in as much Le Cellier as possible before it goes up to 2 credits. :D

coral Reef is my vote. Our steak was better there than LeCellier and your son would love it.

I thought the same thing as you and currently have both a lunch and a dinner ADR at Le Cellier for my upcoming Dec trip. I plan on getting the filet once and the salmon two ways once though. However, I voted for Turf Club in the OP 's poll, because I love their crab crusted steak and calamari. I've also enjoyed their lamb.:rotfl: I've had really good steak at Coral Reef, but have also had some pretty bad (fatty) ones there too. Sanaa I've only eaten at maybe three times and while it was OK every time, it didn't really stick out as being worth a trip over there, plus I've yet to find a dessert there that I like.:rotfl:

We always do Le Cellier twice. :cloud9: I think DH and DS11 would eat there every day if I'd let them! :thumbsup2

I voted for Coral Reef -- it was our first TS when my husband and I went and I had a BLAST! I got a 'window' seat and it was so much fun!

The food was good too.

My thoughts exactly....might have to pay lunch OOP since I can't resist. :rotfl:

OMG...I wanted the same things that you were planning to order!!! Only change for me would be LC-filet for lunch and Veal Tbone for dinner. Turf Club, plan to get either DH to order the steak or lamb so I could try both! :woohoo:

I don't think there's anything wrong with this at all...pay OOP and problem solved....now, if only I could get someone to roll me after eating much more than I'm used to. :lmao:

coral Reef is my vote. Our steak was better there than LeCellier and your son would love it.

This is the actual seller for me too since we would enjoy the food and DS3 would LOVE the aquarium.

Well, I guess I'm going to try to keep most of them and see what DH is in the mood for at the time. I do have the WDW android app on my phone so that I could cancel if plans change. Sanaa seems pretty easy to get in and we're staying at Kidani so that would be covenient in case I want to add to my gluttony! :rotfl2:

I think it largely depends on what you would want to eat at each of these places. Coral Reef for dinner has the most expensive entrees (on average, I think), so financially that might make the most sense. However, as you indicated you like steak, the Le Cellier Filet Mignon is my favorite and it's the most expensive item on the lunch menu.

Overall, I would go to Le Cellier because I like the food and the fact that it's in a park.

Wow! This poll is so exciting especially with a quick turnaround of choices...Sanaa is taking the lead! :cool1:
The rush is like watching the world series all over again...but instead it's about FOOD! :rotfl2:

I voted for Coral Reef because I think your little one would like to see the fish tank, it really keeps them entertained throughout the whole meal. The food at CR is really good too, then afterwards you can find yourself a spot on the lagoon and watch Illuminations one last time before you have to go home the next day. I am not one to do a restaurant twice in a trip that is why I didn't vote for LC, eventhough that is one of my favorite restaurants on property. As for Saanaa or the Turf Club, I can't give you any input on either of them because we have never been before. Good luck deciding.

While we're still here on our last full day and leaving tomorrow afternoon...thought Iud share some feedback to my expert dining Dis'ers.

First, we tried going to Turf Club, but the rain canceled that out.
Second, Coral Reef was just okay but glad we tried it. Far from view and steak was simply just okay.
Lastly,Sanaa being the winner of the poll speaks for itself. It was WONDERFUL. So great that our extra TS credit from Turf will be a lunch at Sanaa before departure.

Thanks everyone!!!!:worship:

I voted Coral Reef but would like to try Sanaa - just wondered what you ate there and trying to decide if my ultra picky vegetarian daughter would go for the veggie option on the menu there.

I also ordered the strip steak at Sanaa and the comparison is like night and day. It was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was just well-balanced bringing out all flavors in your mouth. The potatoes and spinach that accompanied it was great too! Now, my husband had the Fresh catch in a clear broth and shrimp and so on. This was so light and delicate, but again great flavors. We also added the bread option to which we chose Naan for all 3 since we LOVE it including our DS3. IMO if you are either staying in the AKL area or have a rent-a-car...do not pass up Sanaa. As much as I am sharing this info, I'm hoping it's not one of those hard to get in restaurants in the future. :)
