Getting the best rate...

Friends and I are planning a WDW trip for July 2007. Thinking of a moderate, but would love to stay AKL. . What types of discounts are available? What are promotion codes? Are there room discounts for annual passholders? When are the July 2007 rates likely to come out?

I am waiting for an AP rate to come out. It has been rumored that rates for July may be out at the end of this month. You may also want to try AAA. They are running around 174 for standard and 249 for Savanah.

Rates for next year will probably come out sometime in the summer. Lately there have only been AAA discounts and AP discounts. AAA discounts are usually available for all times of the year, and can be reserved when the rates come out. AP discounts get released at various times and may not always be available for certain times of the year.

Right now there are no discounted rates for July 2006, except for maybe AAA, so you might have to wait till next spring to see if AP's help. You can always get 1 AP,and if you go to the parks longer that 7 days, it pays for itself. (Wait a minute, wonder if that's still right with, MYW tickets! )
You might want to watch mousesavers .com for discounts.

I know last Dec(early) the rates came down to be lower than AP's, but that might not happen for summer.
