My kids (ages 6 and 9) would like to start pin trading and collecting. We live about 40 minutes from WDW and can go fairly often. So it would be an ongoing things for them. I wanted to buy a lot of pins on ebay, so I checked out the ebay thread here. The only problem is that there are SO MANY sellers listed as green/good, but many of them don't have any pins for sale. Is there an easier way to do this? To know which sellers regularly have pins for sale?

How many should we start with - 10 or so each? 20?

Thanks so much!!

How many you start with will depend on how many you think your kids will trade. When we go on week long trips we (we all trade, there are 4 of us) take 150-200 pins to trade and we normally run out! We do a LOT of trading.
there is no way to know who will have pins listed until you search for them. The problem you run into on eBay is a LOT of sellers that have lots of pins are selling scrappers. Honestly I suggest watching the green sellers and buying from them when you can. Get some here, get some there, just keep an eye open and get what you can. ALSO try Disneyshopping.com, they will clearance pins for really great prices and you'll know they are good pins because they are from disneyshopping. :)
