Getting Ship Shape for SSMC06

Down 2.5 this week. I hit the 20 lbs loss! :Pinkbounc

I've been doing the WATP and thought I would add something different for a couple of days a week. I bought a Pilates DVD - ok it's only three 10 minute workouts (of which I was struggling to get in just one of the 10 minute workouts), but it kicked my butt! I think I will wait a bit before trying to do it again.
 
Wow Gail, that is amazing!! You are my idol! :worship:

I'm down a whopping 1/2 pound this week. :sad2:

Diana those 1/2 lb losses keep adding up. Keep up the good work!!!

I'm here!! I don't remember what I was at last week, but I'm not down 15 lbs total!! :cheer2:

I'm actually amazed and people are noticing the difference. Well, they are making fun of me because my clothes are now just a little too big to keep wearing and well, I don't want to go buy more clothes because I want to loose at least another 20 lbs.

To be honest, I haven't been doing so well the past 2 weeks, but I'm here to get back up and keep going!!!!

Baggy clothes are good Diana :Pinkbounc 15 pounds gone is great! Congrats :cool1:

Amy today is a new day, way to go to get back up and going again.

I've actually gotten to the point of needing a belt. It's been a long time since I needed one of those :yay:

I am not weighing in next Monday since I will be on vacation in :sunny: Florida! I will be weighing in on the Friday I get back to see how I did.

I haven't had a very good two weeks which is why I haven't been on this thread. Just came back from doing my 30 minute walk on the treadmill so hopefully I'm back in the game. Not doing well with losing pounds but that will come if I just keep at it.

I'm afraid you are all going to be skinny minnies on the cruise and I'll still be fat - will you still be my friends? :)

Gail - you will get plenty of exercise at WDW with all the walking you'll be doing. I'm sure you'll do great!
 
You will always be our friend Mary! Don't worry I have a very long way until I'm a skinny minnie. My best guess is it will be the end of the year before I will even be back to where I was when John & I got married. I'm just now at the point I was when I went on the 03 Member Cruise! I tell you it was much more fun putting the weight on :rotfl2:

Keep up the work on the treadmill Mary, we know every little bit helps :cheer2:

Did you see the post about the point value for the Mickey ice cream bars - 8 points. The chocolate chip cookie sandwich is 12 points. YIKES!

I have a long, long, long way to go before I am anything close to resembling skinny---then I won't be your friend anymore! :lmao:

OMG, I'm so very, very, very far away from being skinny. But, that's ok. Every pound counts and I'm sure that we'll all be happy for SSMC06!!!

And, I didn't need to know how many points were in my favorite Mickey treats. YIKES!!!
 
Anybody know how many points are in the Minnie Strawberry bar? That's actually my favorite and it would be nice to know before I go there next week. :confused3
 
I hear 'ya, Mary. I've kinda given up. I'm trying to motivate myself to start fresh next week, but who knows? I even try telling myself that I won't have "great" control of my Diabetes until I lose at least 20 pounds. No go. It's hard, because 20-or-so pounds just doesn't sound like that much... It's very frustrating!!! :mad:

(And, Mary? I don't think you really have to worry about people not being your friends! My guess is that you could grow three heads, and everyone would still love you!) :grouphug:

Those are my favorites, too! It seems like they would be similar in points to the frozen fruit bars that you find in grocery stores. I'm sure they're fairly reasonable. :sunny:
 
I haven't posted since I joined WW on March 3. I'm down 10.6 pounds:

March 11 - down 4.3 pounds
March 18 - down 3.7 pounds
March 25 - down 2.6 pounds

Tom has been eating healthy with me and is down 8 pounds. He says he can't believe how good he feels. He even admitted that he started doing it with me for me but now that he sees the numbers on the scale going down he is doing it for himself! We even purchased 2 WW cookbooks - the skillet one for $10 at WW and the new WW Complete Cookbook for $19.95 at BJs. There are a lot of good recipes in there and the nutritional information including points are listed!

I haven't been doing much exercising except for the fact my department moved from the first floor to the third floor and I'm not taking the elevator. I'm walking up and down the stairs at least three times a day.

Congrats Annmarie on the loss :cheer2:

I weighed in Monday March 20th and weighed in again this morning - 10 days later and still the same. Ok, so I did have 3 Mickey bars, but I guess the walking took care of it! I am going to keep my weigh in day on Fridays, so that will give me a week from my vacation to show some kind of loss.
 
Great job annmarie! I've been losing and gaining the same pound for the last couple of weeks. :) Didn't do well on my March challenges but now we are in a new month! Keep going everyone!

I'm stuck in the same rut Mary. The week that Julia was sick, I didn't make it to the gym so last week I played catch up.

I'm hoping this week I'll start losing again. I totally forgot to join the April Exercise Challenge officially, but I'm up to 150 minutes already this month. I'm off to cardio kickboxing in about an hour. Gotta get my boxing gloves on and practicing kicking some butt! :banana:
