Getting really nervous

Definitely take them with a grain of salt. There was no WWOHP last spring break. The boy :wizard: has defintely got them trying to :stir:

I read some of those reviews and it was all pretty much whining about the crowds. Duh!

Just get to WWoHP early or maybe go in the evening. We saw all we wanted to in early August and we were offsite.

Thanks, Nickarooney, sounds like you had a great time, crowds and all. We are going to be there one day longer from the looks of it. Did you have enough to do to keep you busy that whole time? We are doing Seaworld at least one day and DC one day too. I think we will have more than enough to time even with the crowds to get everything done, but do not want to be "bored" from what people were saying on Tripadvisor when they went 3 or 4 days. You are on vacation. Isn't being "bored" sometimes, part of a relaxing vacation?

Don't worry!

I always say the litmus test is whether you consider Animal Kingdom a half-day park or a multi-day park. From what you've written, you don't sound like the sort of people who race from one headliner to the next and as soon as you've done the three or four big rides go, "I'm bored now!" If you like puttering around and exploring and taking the time to enjoy yourself, you should be fine. :goodvibes

We spent six whole days at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure this past December, and we could have happily stayed longer.

Thanks, Magpie! I was starting to worry if there would be enough for us to do. We really do like to take our time and enjoy the surroundings. We literally can spend 2 or 3 days just in Epcot's World Showcase at DW and not get bored. Plus, we have seaworld and Discovery Cove in there too. We should be fine. I can't help thinking in the back of mind though if I am going to miss Disney.

You probably will miss Disney. I always do in some ways but then I find myself missing Universal when I'm at WDW. WDW is nice and familiar and comfortable and Universal is getting that way for me. I just can't win. ;)

We will be going to Universal for the first time next month, the weekend after President's Day. We will be staying at PBH, and if I understand you all correctly, we don't need to be there when the park opens to avoid long lines. Is this correct? WWOHP is a priority, so should we get there at opening to see the Forbidden Journey and Ollivanders before the crowds build?

We're looking forward to our first Universal trip, but as a compulsive Disney planner, I'm a little lost . . . :)

If you are staying at PBH, take advantage of the early entrance and get there before 8.

Hey that's a win/win situation! A good problem to have:thumbsup2
Nothing better than having fun at a theme park!:dance3:
