I feel like I have a running list a mile long in my head of things to get and do and cook and buy and whatever else before the trip.

Picked up a small mat for outside the camper today to bring in lieu of the big outdoor rug.

Grabbed a few more non-perishable grocery items. The plan is to have a good deal of stuff already purchased and bring it with us and then hit up the store when we get there for perishables and the rest of what we might need. I just didn't want to try to buy it all before and transport it with us - and at at the same time, I didn't want to have a do a HUGE grocery trip when we arrived either. This was the best solution I could come up with!

Doing my cooking and getting stuff frozen. So far taco meat and casserole are made and frozen. Meatballs and sauce are cooking today. Pulled pork is next up and that's the last meal I need to make in advance. Then I just plan on making some cookies to bring with us.

Camper got washed and waxed the other day, so that's done.

Kids' autograph books are done, new Sharpies purchased. We have waterproof neck pouches, non-waterproof pouches, ponchos, fans and other things we might need for the parks.

Every day, I tick another few items off the list as we head into these final two weeks. The home stretch, baby!

I know how you feel, I have been doing pretty much the same thing. Getting new wheel bearings and tires for the pup, making sure all the outlets work and trying to get the bedding and the cooking supplies rounded up. We still have over 2 1/2 months before we are there, but I keep trying to get things ready after work and on what little weekend time that I have. It looks like you are doing great at getting ready, and I hope you have a wonderful time!:woohoo:

86 days till our trip to the Fort.

There is a lot to getting ready for a camping trip. It makes the trip that much more appreciated. I hope you have fun and some time to relax.

One of my friends said she admired not only my ability to make a pre-trip to-do list but to actually get the things on it done. I told her it's super easy to be motivated to get it done now because it means my vacation will actually be relaxing and fun instead of full of cooking and doing dishes!

Less than 2 weeks until we leave on our grand adventure -can't wait!

But isn't it a good kind of tired? Being organized before you go makes the trip enjoyable. You know you've done your best.

Call me crazy but I love the planning and getting ready part! Only thing I don't like is the first day we leave......always seems too hectic, never leave on time and one of the kids always leaves something important behind..... Like The last trip my dd forgot to pack ÀNY pants, lol. Not even one pair of shorts ,jeans...nothing. And when we leave I let them ride in pj's so she didn't even have the ones she would be wearing ... Luckily she made due with some of her sister's until we found a Walmart for some shorts.Trying to make sure more is done and CHECKED they days before so this time goes a little smoother.

Definitely the good kind of tired. And I am so paranoid my kids will forget pants or underwear or some other vital stuff that the older two will get packing lists, while I will do all the packing for the youngest. I also told the youngest I will be selecting his outfits while there lest we blind the masses with his odd sense of color coordination! ;)

Just to note that was with a packing list... She crossed off the item before with marker so it covered the pants/shorts line, and she thought she had done it... And i just checked the list which was all crossed off ... Lesson learned for this momma!
