Getting ready for Christmas 2022 - why am I doing this?

Ok, so right now I lucked out and have reservations for Christmas week. This is through DVC.

Here's the questions: would you travel 23-30? OR 26-31/1?

I have kids and we are going to just enjoy the season, decorations, resort, etc. Not really going crazy with parks although we plan to be there just to check out the chaos and fun extras.

I'm leaning toward leave 23 and be there for actual Christmas - give us more time to relax.

Is there a pro or con to either of these times? It's either arrive before Christmas or after.

If you can afford it, I would go earlier and use the extra days. That time is so busy already, and the extra time means you can relax a little bit at least.
