Does Disney offer a place for you and your bridesmaids to gather and get ready before the ceremony? I will have 5 brides maids and a hotel room would be tight plus the hair stylist and mother..etc.

there is in fact a place where you can get ready. Disney lets brides use their conference rooms. unfortunately, they cost $500. they use to be free if available, but i guess for them it was a hastle. somebody please correct me if I'm wrong! I am not much help, sorry. someone else want to take this one?

As far as I know, Disney now charges you $500 for the use of a ballroom as your getting ready room. I don't know if that fee means they will guarantee you a room. When we got married they wouldn't guarantee the room until 2 weeks out I think.

I got ready in a Grand Villa at the Boardwalk that my parents rented using their DVC points. For us that was the perfect option. DH and his guys got ready in a ballroom.

Yes that information is correct! I am in the same boat as you. 4 bridesmaids, mom, aunts, me, 2 hairstylists, plus a few others...it is going to be madness in a standard room. We have a concierge level room reserved for our stay but my groom needs somewhere to get ready!! So we put in a request for a conference room at GF and are sucking up the cost, so hopfeully there is one available for us to use.

We got ready in a ballroom at 5am in the Contemporary. At the time, there was no charge- but the room could not be guaranteed until 10 days out.

Although we had the ballroom, one of the best decisions I made was to get ready alone. The reason is, everyone would have tried to boss me around on how I wanted my hair done and it was none of their business. I have some really controlling sisters so I just kept to myself! It was perfect, relaxing, and I would suggest it to anyone.

me, our moms, moh & stylists will be getting ready in our room at the yc concierge, we rented another room there at the yc for the guys to get ready in.

the convention rooms can be used to get ready at the resorts but theres a $500 fee (cheaper to book another resort room).

yes it is cheaper the only problem you need to consider with getting another room is the check-in and check-out times for the hotel. If you only get it for the day of the wedding you might not be able to check in until 3 pm....just a consideration.

I booked a 1-bedroom villa at the Beach club for my "getting ready" and they linked me to my brother's and his wife's studio...we had plenty of room (me, four girls, three flower girls, one baby groomsman, and my mom) My only thought, not regret, is that I would have either pulled the curtains or gotten a room with more "elegant" curtains;-) Randy took getting ready pics of me in front of those curtains and it just doesn't look bridal;-) But it was great for the room...and on a weeknight (if your wedding is any day but sat or sun) it would only be about 200-250 to rent...PLUS there is an awesome jacuzzi tub to relax in the night before!
