Getting read to go to the "Magic Place"

I am never going to get to post here. I have been here so many times and either get pulled away or my posts get deleted by little fingers...

SOOOOOO let me try this again. MIl found out she is good to go for the whole trip. I am glad. She will have fun and the kids will get to spend some quality time with Grandma all to themselves! We decided to got ot he beach Friday the 24th for the day. We will be heading to St Pete area. they have Fort Desoto park and they have a ferry to take you to Egmont key. We are going to try that. Once we get there we are going to check out he beaches at the park and may skip the ferry. Then we are going to head to Madiera Beach and John's Pass for lunch and maybe a bit of shopping. After that will will hit the beach for a little bit and head back tot he resort. I am not sure when we will get back but if it is soon enough we can go to Mk for a little bit. I am not sure htough the kids will be pretty tired I bet. Al though ti si a 2 hours drive and i bet they sleep the whole time. It just depends on how quickly they tucker out at the beach and how hot it is. We have the car until Sunday evening we are thinking about goig to Coco Beach for a little bit Sunday morning. It is relaly close about 40minutes so we could do that and still get back in plenty of time to do the evening EMH at MK. We will not be heading to the park until about 5 or 6 pm.


I have our itenerary all set. I rearranged some days after the crowd calendar went up for our dates. We are going more for the recommended parks and just a few evening EMH's.

Fri 4-24 Beach and maybe Magic Kingdom
Sat 4-25 Animal Kingdom
Sun 4-26 Beach morning? Magic Kingdom at about 5 or 6pm for evening EMH's
Mon 4-27 Hollywood Studios Evening EMH's
Tues 4-28 Magic Kingdom
Wed 4-29 Epcot
Thurs 4-30 Animal Kingdom
Fri 5-1Magic kingdom
Sat 5-2 Will decide while we are there

Well now lets see if we can post again! I am having more luck today!

I have my requests in for you names on a thread in the dis-signs area. I am making me, MIL, DH and Jack a shirt and Gracie 2 shirts. I have the shirts, just need transfer paper. MIL is going to help me do them maybe next weekend. Last year we did tye dye mickeys but DH was not crazy about tye dye again and MIL was not so into it either. Part poopers!

I have started my misc packing. I am going to try and me mostly done by next weekend. The week before our trip is a real hectic one so i don't want o have much to do. I will go over my lists and add the last few things the Sunday before our trip.

I want to make sure I ahve found everything. I think I will do that this sunday. Make sure if we do not have something ti is on a list to buy next week and find the things we ddo already have.

We found sunglasses at Big Lots for $2 a pair!! It took a little while of going through them to find a few that were not scratched and that fit right. But such a good deal! We have some already but we always lose a pair or two on vacation. They are REALLY expensive to replace at a place like Disney!

Well last night I went out shopping....well i locked the keys int he van first then i went shopping. UUgh. Cost $35 for a guy to come and get them out. Mental note...get another key made.

So I went shopping and got some little stuff. I bought Jack a swim top(the ones that look like a wet suit kinda). I think it will be perfect for him at the beach. I can come off too but I don't want him to burn. At least part of the day he will wear it. MIL bought them new beach towels.

I have most of our bags packed. I have my last minute list pretty full. I had a horribel dream last night that we forgot the kids when we left for the airport(it is 2 hours away)and our flight was going to take off in an hour. Plus DHa nd I were fighting and MIL got all in the middle of it.....I guess i have a bit of anxiety about that. I am sure it will be fine though.

I had a dream not too long ago that it was my mother, one of my sisters and me going to Disney and we were getting dressed to go. Then I remembered I had not packed yet . I always have a fear of forgetting something when we pack.

Oh, man, I started with "nightmares" last week, it's like when you're pregnant and you dream you leave your newborn at the mall

I can't believe it's only 3 more days for you!! You guys must be getting so excited.

I was here to post last night but never got to. Things are so crazy. We have so much to do and are running out of time. I did go today and find earplanes for Gracie. i think they will help alot. She had a terrible time with her ears last year. I am hoping Jack does okay. He was nursing still last year. He does have his paci still though. I pretty much have him weened but if I were desperate he could nurse. (It has only been 2 weeks since we started weening). I am sure he will be fine with his paci and a drink though.(i hope)

I have most everything packed we have one more bag to go through. I have to charge camera, cell and camcorder batteries. I also need to clean the kitchen and do up what bit of laundry we have right now. When we get home there will be a TOM i won't need to add to it.

I have been watchign the weather and it looks liek it will be LOVELY when we are there! YAY!!

I almost have my 2008 trip report done!! I cannot wait to do this years. I will actually start it after we get home though not a year later,

This will probably be my last post before the trip!

Can't wait to go....we are all so excited!!!!!!!!!

I hope you're having a great time!!! I can't wait to hear all about your trip when you get back! I can't believe all of the people we've been waiting with for the past couple of months are starting to go on their trips, these months have gone by so fast. Mine is only 20 days away from today
