Getting PH from a CM

A friend of mine says her sister can give me CM one PH's. Is this ok? I don't think that CM's can sell them but can they give them away as a gift?

When I worked at Disney I was giving two one day park hopper tickets to be used any way I wished. I gave them to some friends going to Disney as a gift. Giving them away is one thing, selling them is a BIG NO NO!! You should be okay with them being given to you as a gift.
