Hello! :goodvibes

I'm currently planning a trip that will put us there over New Years. And I'm trying to save as much as possible. Now, I obviously will wait to buy park hoppers until I need them, but I still want to do my planning (ADRs/FP+) around one or the other.

So I know it's a pretty busy time, we'll be in the parks Dec 30th-Jan 5 or 6. This past Jan I was there right after New Years (3-9) and even that first weekend after NYE wasn't too crowded! But I'm a little concerned with the crowds prior to NYE.

So my question is, would you get park hoppers over such a busy time? I really don't want to have to get them, but I want to hear other people's opinions!!

Thank you! :)

I think it's really a matter personal preference. You can certainly plan a terrific trip with one park per day. If you want to save the money, then don't buy hoppers.

We were there last NYE. We had AP's and did hop, but to be honest I was a little nervous that if Epcot were to go to full closure that we wouldn't be able to get in after staying much of the day at DHS.

There's just no way to know.

You can PLAN for not having them, then if all goes well, you're done!
But, if something comes up, you can buy them on-the-spot.

The biggest concern during super-busy times is being not permitted into a park
that is over-full with guests, and having to wait- if and until -a substatial number of guests
finally exit that park and additional guests would then be allowed entrance (to a still busy, busy park.)
