This is a bit of a long shot but DD really wants a Giselle princess costume and it is impossible to find one here in the UK. I have found one on disneyoutlet.com but the shipping costs are in excess of $50 and that's not even counting any possible import tax that might need to be paid on delivery.

Does anyone know if it's possible to order and get it delivered to our Disney hotel?

Or got any other suggestions?

I would imagine so. I know other people have had packages delivered to the resort (not necessarily from Disney OUtlet) and they recommend that you try to put your arrival date somewhere in the address so that the hotel know when you will be arriving.

Thanks Wayne, sorry should have had a proper look before I posted :guilty:

I've done it Joh. In fact in December I had 7 parcels delivered to the hotel. :lmao: Well I can't help it I like getting lots of scrapbook stuff from the states & international shipping costs a fortune. :rotfl:

I ordered from Disney US too. Just make sure when you do the order online that in the delivery address you put "your name" then "Arrival date - 10/??/09" followed by the hotel address.

I placed my orders about a week before we left so they wouldn't be hanging around the hotel too long. :thumbsup2

Oooh, thanks for asking this question! I think I might do the same for some UCLA gear. I guess if I order like 2 days before I leave then it should arrive while im there! :)

Hi Joh

We've done this loads of times and never have a problem. We address it like this:

Mrs Miffy2003 (check in date Day/Month/Year*)
Disney Resort Name
Disney Resort Address
Zip Code

If it arrives before we do, they know to hold onto it by the check in date :)

Watch out for the Disney.com Sales - one year I got 70% off EVERYTHING - amazing!

Cheers

Karen

*Do it the US way round

Yes not a problem done it several times. If ordering from a store I order 2 days prior to going so it is at the resort while I am thee. If ordering off ebay most sellers have been grateful in sending it off on the dates I have requested.

Just a heads up if your staying a WDW hotel that has a conference facility attached they now charge you for deliveries. At CSR its $20 - but it still work out cheaper for me to order two weeks worth of mineral water from Costco even with the surcharge :thumbsup2

Joh I too have ordered from on line stores and got delivered to my Disney hotel

Joh

Susan has also done this a number of times for us. In fact this year she arranged for some Crocs to be delivered to BWV for India - never had a problem and it seems a great idea to cut down on those exhorbitant postage charges to the UK

we have done it too
to the resort and too the Disney magic

We've done this loads of times, both stuff from Disneyshopping and also from other sites. Works like a charm. I've even ordered suitcases from Disney and used them on the return trip for all the souveniers ;)

As long as they have the name and check in date you should be fine. But there is a cost if you're in a conference hotel.
