Getting NW miles on a Delta flight

Does anyone know how I can add my WorldPerks miles while booking a delta flight on delta.com, or do I need to do it on the airport? I could certainly use the delta miles, but I'm thisclose to getting 50000 miles on NW and my upcoming trip out west will just about get me there. We're trying to get enough NW miles for a free flight to DLP! Any assistance is much appreciated!

Thanks for the info; what I'm wondering though, is where I would put in my NW number when I'm on the delta website. On the NWA website it clearly has a spot for partner miles numbers, but I didn't see the same on the delta site...

I don't think there is. I ama Delta Skymiles customer, and on a few occaisions when my number was not added at booking, I have had to call. If you call their customer service number, they should be able to add it. Or you can wait until you get to the airport and they can do it for you there.

Hey neighbor! I think I am just going to wait until I get to the airport. I could really use the NW miles, but I'm going to be sacrificing the 500 bonus skymiles I'd get for booking online...such a dilemma! Thanks again for the info!
