Getting Nervous!!!!

My countdown is getting pretty close and I am getting really nervous about all the bad weather . I feel so bad about all the bad luck those people have had lately and here we are getting so excited about something that seems so petty compared to what they are going through. So I guess I am happy and not so happy. Can anyone relate.

Well, I blinked, so we took advantage of the airlines allowing changes with no charge and moved our vacation to 12/4 to 12/11. We were originally going 9/25 to 10/2. I knew Ivan would be cleared out, but they seem to be having a very active hurricane season this year and I can't stand my vacations to be rained on. And, like you said, I was having a hard time getting enthused knowing some people's lives had been so ravaged. By early December things should be significantly back to normal. Good luck with your trip and still have fun. They need our tourist $$$$, lol.

The weather will be fine as far as the storm goes.

I was at IOA yesterday there was no damage but the large IOA sign was off of the lighthouse and all the banners for the City Walk venues were removed from the side of the movie theater.

Yes, they removed all of those as a precaution. They'll be back up after Ivan is no longer a threat (probably on Wednesday).

There was no visible damage to the parks from Frances. Charley did a little damage but it has all been cleaned up. The weather is nice right now and there are no people there. All the rides should be walkons. You'll have a great time.

For the first time in my life I planned my vacation around the weather reports. We were supposed to go last week, because they had Ivan going in last Sun. night, so I postponed everything a week. I'm so mad at myself.
They missed the landfall by a week! I know it's good for the residents to prepare, etc. But, I can't believe I did that. We could be there having fun right now.
The hotels were great in letting me postpone, I hope they will let me cancel w/o losing my money.

We normally love September. We are supposed to be at HRH now, and postponed 2 weeks....I pray it's enough!
