We leave Monday morning for DW, and for some reason I am worried I am missing something. This is our first DVC trip, so maybe that is making me nervous. I should be excited not freaking out, right?:confused3

What are you freaking out about? Where are you staying? How long?

I feel like I have forgotten something. We are stayin in a Kidani 1 bedroom for 7 nights. I am taking my 2 older children, but leaving my two younger children behind. So that is part of my problem also. What could I be missing?

Image yourself on the vacation; think about what you will wear and need.
I would also image your children that are staying at home. What will they need for success?
Then make the necessary lists.

I always freak out last minute too. Last time I thought I had everything on my list but at the last minute it occurred to me that I didn't pack my camera! It just popped into my head! I would have been upset without it.

I always remind myself that as long as I have my glasses and my medication, whatever I've forgotten, I can buy. They have stores in Florida.

You've gotten some really good advice, but I just wanted to add:

:woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3:Have fun! :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3:

This is my philosophy! We always go to the Super Target on arrival day anyway.

The big things are things not easily replaced like chargers, prescriptions meds, glasses, cell phones. Things like that. Anything else can be replaced or done without.

Have a great trip!

Thank you everybody! I think on the way to the airport I will probably start getting super excited. Today is the get ready day. It still calls for a lot of rain, so I am wondering if we should bring more jeans and sweatshirts?

Oh good grief, no! It's HOT here. The humidity on the rise is what causes the rain. Bring rain gear, but nothing that you will end up being too hot in.

Now, stop worrying and enjoy!

Assuming that you have child care in place for your young ones, you are all set. Vacation is not about the things you bring or the things you forget. If you're there then that's all that matters. Try to relax and have fun.

No worries! Just relax and enjoy being "home". You can always buy anything you need at either Disney or in one of the stores. It will all be ok. :goodvibes

DH forgot the charger for the laptops on our last trip. Did a short detour to Radio Shack on the way from MK to AK.

Come back to us after you've walked into Kidani and have a chance to look around at the resort, the pool, the savannah, the amazing animals at your "doorstep" and your beautiful room. You'll feel at home and can relax and enjoy. You're going to love every minute of your trip. Count on it!

Got it! I know what you're missing: the hotel bill to be paid in advance. :goodvibes

Enjoy your trip!
