I had it done in 2006, during the c/s of my 3rd child.
Someone posted that they had a harder recovery but I didn't.
It was my 2nd c/s (1st child was a v-birth) & I had her on a Thursday & left the hospital on Saturday. I would of left on Friday if they would of let me. FTR, I was up & walking with my 2nd child/1st c/s with in hours & doing loops at the hospital. If I knew I could of left early with that one, I would of.
Anyways, mine was done at the same time as the c/s so I only have that scar.
I just turned 39 in October. I am glad I had it done although there are months I wonder if I am pregnant because AF has a whacky scheduale-sometimes every 4 weeks, sometimes 6 weeks & 2 summers ago I didn't have it the entire summer, talk about wonderful! But I do get heavy AF's at times & I don't have very painful ones other the the initial cramping I have always had.
Other then the above I have no other symptoms then normal AF symptoms.
