I need a little help please! I am planning our first trip to Disney for August. I booked our flight but now I need to figure out whats the best way for my family to get from the airport to the hotel. My youngest is two and will need a car seat but I dont want to bring one with me. I only need one way way because we are staying outside of disney for two nights and then checking into Disney resort for the remainder of our stay...still have to figure that transportation out too. Ahh!!! So much to plan. :)

You can use DME (Disney's Magical Express) for free to return to the airport. I don't believe car seats are required (or allowed) on DME. Any car or taxi service will have car seats available.

I would book a towncar as a round trip except the 2nd leg takes you to the WDW Resort instead of the airport. We use Tiffany when we stay at the Dolphin and prices run about $120 r/t with a complimentary 30 minute grocery stop. They will also provide a carseat. This is what we do when we stay at Universal for a couple days prior to WDW and it works nicely for us:)

Alternately you can use Mears - also a shared bus shuttle at $18 one way adults and children under 3 are free, then a taxi from the offsite resort to the WDW Resort. The mears website will have shuttle info as well as a taxi fare calculator so you can estimate costs. You can reqeust a taxi with a carseat when you call.

Honestly, your best bet is a rental car. It's often cheaper, and you'll need the flexibility if you are off-site, unless you plan to stay at your resort and just veg out for those days before you move to WDW.

You could rent a car to get you from MCO to your non-WDW resort and then use it to get to WDW.
You can book a car service for the ride to your resort and then over to WDW.
