i want to hit the espn club on the boardwalk on monday the 29th.. got to watch the packers that night. :happytv:

will it be hard to get in? when should we arrive? it is a 7pm game...

tips are always greatly appreciated :3dglasses

we were there last year and hated it. the beer was expensive and the food was not so good. We usually go to Pizza Unos to watch sports.

I'm going to move this over to the Restaurants Board, where I'm sure you'll get more answers! :goodvibes

No priority seating at ESPN, we waited in a 45 minute line for a Sunday game last year. We are also Packer fans, and we just let the hostess know we wanted to see the game. I stood in line, my DH stood in the overly crowded bar to watch the first half. My husband tolerates my Dis obsession, so that was the least I could do, lol. Since it is a Monday night game, I would imagine you would be able to see it in any bar. Where are you staying? Have you considered going to the lounge at your resort? Go Packers:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

we love the ESPN bar. We were there last year for the Ohio State U of M game. The down side was it took us awhile to get in. They had TV's set up outside for the game too. We have also been there for the Superbowl (years ago without kids) and it is a ton of fun. The food is simple but the wings are good and the beer is cold and there is no driving needed.:dance3:

I am sure if you get there at a decent time you should be able to get in. I remember in January 1999 my parents and I tried to go there because I wanted to and the night we went happen to be the NCAA College Football National Championship game. If we had know that then we would have went on a different night. Anyway by the time we had arrived the line was way out the door, so instead we ended up having dinner at TGI Friday's in Lake Buena Vista.

We have gone every year "for the Packer game of course" when we're there in the fall. It's always been Sunday and packed, but I'm thinking (and hoping) that since there is only one game on Monday night it will not be as crowded. SEE YOU AT THE GAME!!!!!!!!!! We'll be there also!!!

we will be staying at the fort of course... :hippie:

the espn club is just a different atmosphere.. we will see you there.

Just show up around 30-45 mins early. That way you should be able to get a table and a beer or 2 in ya before kickoff. You're not missing anything if you don't get in. I like the place, but it is overrated. I went there once for the Florida-Georgia game and had to stand against that partition thing near the front door. At least they don't charge a cover...

The game on the 29th -Monday Night Football starts at 830 EST(Florida time) not the 7 you said. I would advise getting there by 745 if you are planning to eat in the main dining area becuase there will be a line waiting to eat there. If you are planning to watch in the Bar area where its seat yourself on 1st come basis I would say be there by around 715 no later then 730 to ensure getting a booth or high table.

Get there as early as you can, the food's great and the atmosphere of the boardwalk is so much fun!!!!!
