Getting into parks from offsite

Hi everyone, this is my first post and hopefully I'm putting it in the right spot lol. We will be at WDW August 2-7, we will be staying offsite but have pre-park opening ADR for our Magic Kingdom days. My question is when we get to the public parking is it correct that our only option getting into the park that early is to ride the resort monorail until it stops at MK? Thank you in advance! This forum has been a BIG helping in planning our upcoming vacation, I would have been lost without it

Unless it has changed the ferries run pre-opening as well. At least they were last time I went to a pre-opening thing. Most of the time, in fact, I have been directed to the ferries. Things might have changed though. I think that there is an area here that gives the times and methods of transportation on given days.
