Hi! I've never done this, but I know that you can get into the parks early if you have ADR's before the park opens. Do you just go up to the gate and tell the cm, or is there a special place to get in early? Do you just say you have an ADR or do they have a list?

My reason for asking is just for planning purposes. Only my dd and I are eating at CRT (I refuse to waste 2 ts credits for the boys, who wouldn't eat anything and wouldn't get anything out of the princess thing), and had planned to meet dh and my three boys afterwards. Now, I'm used to juggling diaper bags, strollers and kids, but dh isn't quite as prepared to do this, especially dealing with a bus. Although totally doable, it would be quite an effort for him. :)

I had the thought that we could all go into the MK together, since part of us do have that early ADR. The guys could just hang out for a bit in the area that isn't roped off. I know nothing is really open for them, but dh might prefer this option.

So, do they check your ADR and how many are in your ADR party before letting you in? I'm just trying to help dh out a bit, with being able to lend a couple hands getting everyone on/off the bus. What do you think?

They do, usually have a list of names when you check in at the gate for your ADR, and they do have CMs "gently" herding guests to their ADR locations. We have seen other families being asked to get themselves checked in to their restaurants when it appeared that the family had intended to "camp out" for a while in the MK in the morning before opening time. So I don't think you could count on your plan to have part of your family wait for you while you have your breakfast....

You have to check in before you even get through the turnstiles into the park, with your whole party, if part of your party isn't eating, they will be left outside the turnstiles while you go in. I would make the reservation for your full party, or leave the rest back at the room and tell them to meet you later.

Thanks :goodvibes We'll just leave dad and the boys behind, and see how it goes getting them there for when we're done. I just wasn't sure how all of this worked.

Thanks for the replies.
