I have two old desktop computers, no monitor. Is there a way to hook up to my tv or laptop to view what is on it? I know I have old pictures that I want. I tired looking it up online but didnt understand. The old desktop does not have a HDMI port(as far as I can tell)

Thanks!

Connecting to your TV will depend on what inputs are available on the TV and what outputs are available on the computer. You'll need to check if any of those match up. Connecting to the laptop will probably require some configuration on the desktop, which will not be possible without first connecting a monitor, so that's probably not going to work. You might be able to connect of your network, or you could pull the hard drives out and install them in an external case. There are lots of options, but all will require some level of technical ability.

Most modern tvs have a vga input which will probably match your pc's output.

Been there! Done that!

I had a friend pull the hard drive from the old computer. We bought an enclosure for it -- about $25. It's now our back up drive / external hard drive.

Installing it in the enclosure is dead easy (says the woman who walked into the computer store, hard drive in hand, batted her eyes at the 20 something behind the desk, slipped him a $10, and said, "What do I do with this?") and all you need to do after that is plug it in like you would a USB.
