Getting in Epcot for Akershus on arrival day?

We have an 8am Akershus for our arrival day for 2 ppl in our party. How would this work?

Everything booked thru Disney as a package w Magic Bands.

1) Can we drop them off at Epcot, then the rest of us go check in at our resort?

2) Will they be able to get in Epcot for their ADR before we're checked in?

3) Would all Magic Bands being checked in have to be at the resort to do so?

This is the first time we've had a pre-open ADR on our check-in day so it's an unusual situation...

Magic Bands are active from the time they are shipped out. You don't need to check in for them to work in regard to tickets. You will need to check in before you can use your Magic Band to charge to the room or use dining credits.

Yes, you'll be able to get into the parks before you check in.
