Getting hung up on by Disney Dining

Y'all.

I have tried 5 times today to call and reserve a spot for my kids at the Sandcastle Club.

1st time, quoted 30+ minute wait so figured I would call back
2nd time 13 minute wait then hung up on when transferred to person
3rd time hung up on within 3 minutes of music
4th time I reached a person but was hung up on while she was mid-sentence

I am currently on hold with a wait time of "less than 10 minutes" so we will see how this goes.


WHY WHY WHY do I have to make these reservations through the dining line? Yes they are served food, but that isn't the entire point of putting them in the program.

The number listed on the web page is 407-WDW-PLAY (939-7529). I believe that regardless which number you call for dining, tours, etc. they all typically ring to the same call center(s) and those at that call center can book any of them. The greeting they use when they answer the phone is based on which number you dialed.
 
I tried the number listed there first and didn't know which option to choose. Then called the lobby at Beach Club 2x the line was only silent. 3rd time I talked to a cast member who said it is booked through dining and transferred me over.
 

In the future if you get disconnected you could try 407 WDW DINE and choose the option "I need something else." That should get you to a human who can then transfer you.
