Getting hotels for Barb Con is driving me insane!

I booked a few hotels for Barb Con and my coaster travels. It seems like the hotels are running from $40-$50. Even old reliable Priceline is coming up empty. I couldn't get anything at $35 a night, even with a 1 star hotel! I guess a lot of people are coming to Barb Con and booking up the state!

Anyway, I did manage to get a few hotels within $40-$50, but it took a lot of work. Most hotels are around $75-$90!

Barry, just a word of advice. If you're staying around me the night of the picnic(near Pottstown) the Comfort Inn is your only choice. The other places are just icky. There is a Holiday Inn Express, but it's quite a bit further away. Where in my area are you looking for rooms?

I was looking in any Allentown area. I did book the Comfort Inn in Pottsville, but it cost me $76 a night! I found a Microtel Inn for $52 a night. Here's the address:
