Getting hitched Disney style!

Hello everyone!

After much debate we have decided to go with a Disney Wedding and I am sooooo happy!

Our entire family is located in RI so it was a very hard choice as they cannot all be at our ceremony.

What we plan to do is have a large Grand Reception back home before the ceremony so it will still feel like they are sending us off on our honeymoon except we will get married then have our honey moon in Disney World.

We considered having a big reception when we got home but chose to have it before hand so we were not missing out of the big honeymoon "sendoff" from family and friends.

This is all very exciting for both of us as we spend 2 weeks every year in WDW. To me there is no better place to say my vows!

How accurate is the wishbook online?

1st choice for my gown

The wishbook is pretty accurate. They have made some changes in the the prices of the floral and photo department. Example the MK photo session is listed as $800 on wish book and in reality it is $1200. But that's the only big one.

Wow that kinda stinks about the MK photo session!

Truth be told, after seeing the amazing pictures on this board of the MK photo sessions, I would be willing to pay just about anything! Truly a princess experience, and to be photographed when the entire park is closed...how very enchanting indeed!

The wishbook is a pretty helpful tool to get the ball rolling...have fun with it...nothing is official until contracts are signed

Kinda weirds me out sometimes though because DFI's father is in love with her.....lol
