Hi, We are visiting WDW for the first time this July and are staying at the SSR. We have a dining plan, but since we also have a full kitchen in our suite I wanted to get some groceries/food for breakfast in our room, snacks and some quick meals. We are flying in and won't have a car. Any suggestions?

I think I've seen gardengrocer.com be talked about. I'm not sure if they have Albertson's around Orlando, but I know they have delivery service. Also, wegoshop.com is another one.

I just ordered from Gardengrocer.com.. I heard wonderful reviews from DISers and had no problems ordering for my June trip, also staying at SSR.

I also heard that most stores on the resorts are expensive though. What my parents did was take the local bus to a super wal-mart. But ordering online is a good idea too.

Disney has a grocery service for its Vacation Club members. It is probably
available for other guests also.

If your just looking for basics, the store at SSR has juice, coffee, milk, etc.
They are at Disney ($$$) prices though.

We use garden grocer and they are great! You can send them coupons, the will get wine or beer (if you are of age). We drink tons of water in Disney so it really saves you quite a bit. Even though you pay a service fee at garden grocer, the stores on property or DVC stocking for you are quite pricey. Beer and wine alone made a huge difference for us. I pack a suitcase with some dry food goods also.

In December at SSR...we used a snack credit for a pack of bagels...they gave us for free packs of butter and cream cheese. We also got milk using snack credit.

You could buy eggs...bacon...etc...the prices are a little high but since we didn't have a car and didn't want to waste to much park time shopping we didn't find them too bad.

I have a question, did they have OJ or Milk in containers larger than single serving? We don't want to order groceries or go to the store and we are on the dining plan. Just need refrigerated items and maybe chips, etc. We have enough Rewards points for breakfast too so don't need much. The only thing is we may bring a case of water unless they had them there not too outrageous?

Thanks!
