Getting from WL to mini golf course?

My DD-6 wants to mini golf on our next visit to Disney. We are thinking the Fantasia course looks the most interesting, but wondered how a person gets there using Disney transportation? What if it's late at night when you finish golfing? Do we need to rely on a taxi? Thanks in advance.

To get to Fantasia from a WDW hotel, take the bus to any theme park and then get on the Boardwalk bus. This is also the bus going to the Swan/Dolphin. Get off at the Swan/Dolphin and walk to the back of the resort where the pool area is. You will then walk to the road and cross the street. Fantasia is right there.

When I did this walk, I was at the Boardwalk on the boardwalk. From there you just walk to the left, over the bridge to the Swan/Dolphin and keep walking relatively straight(past the pool) until you get to the street. Fantasia is on the other side.

To get back, you would need to walk to the Swan/Dolphin bus area and take the bus back to a park to pick up your resort bus. I think there is only one stop for the Swan/Dolphin, but if I'm wrong someone will post.

You can take the bus to Disney Hollywood Studios, then the boat to the Swan/Dolphin dock. From there, follow the walking path near the Swan. There's a street to cross. For your return, it depends on how late you are leaving Fantasia Gardens. If DHS is still open, or within an hour of close, there will be buses there for WL. If you have Park Hoppers, and MK is open, or within an hour after close, you could enter Epcot, walk to the front and take the monorail to TTC + express monorail to MK*, or take the Epcot bus to the Contemporary Resort. From MK or CR, take the motor launch to WL. The launch runs to approx. 11:30pm**. Alternately, you could take the Swan or Dolphin Bus to MK, then the motor launch to WL. Taxi is another alternative, and frees you up to stroll the Boardwalk and have a meal or snack in the Boardwalk area. Here's a map:

*Not sure of last monorail from Epcot to TTC, or last express monorail to MK. However, the resort monorail operates later than park closings.

I agree, if for nothing else for the safety of not having to cross that road between the hotels and the golf course.
