Getting from the Poly to Wilderness Lodge

We're staying at the Poly but wanted to check out Artist's Point (the restaurant @ WL). What's the best mode of transport? Make our way to MK and then to WL or just hop in a cab?

Take the WL boat from the front of the MK. It may stop at the CR also, but it's such a nice ride.

We love water and boats, so we would take the resort launch from the Poly to MK, then walk about 50 yards to the right and get on the boat to the WL. If you prefer, you could monorail to the MK, then catch the boat to WL. The resort launch is so relaxing. I haven't been on the WL boat though.

The only time I would take a cab would be if the MK/fireworks were getting out just as you wanted to get on the boat from the MK to the WL. (probably won't happen for an early dinner)

Before 3:00 pm the boat goes from MK to FW and then WL. After 3:00 pm the boat goes from MK to WL and then FW. It's a very pleasant ride. The ride from MK to WL takes about 10 minutes. The MK to FW to WL takes about 25 minutes.

I agree about taking the boats! Polynesian to the MK via boat, then onto the WL via boat

Just be forewarned that those boats are not air-conditioned!!!

You could also take the monorail to the Contemporary, and then take the shuttle boat that goes to the Wilderness Lodge, depending on what time you are looking to do this, it may be less crowded to go through the Contemporary.

The boats are nice. But if you find yourself in a hurry, take a cab.

I wouldn't mess around with boats and transfers and such. You're going for a nice meal and will be dressed up a bit for it, I'd just take a cab.

walk to the ttc and hop on the monrail to the MK adn then take the boat over

walk to GF adn then take the monorail or boat the mk and then the boat from there

im sure theres a bus, but what fun it that
