getting from ssr to polynesian

what's the best/quickest way to get from the ssr to the poly? we have 5pm dinner resv at ohana's in nov and my guess is we will be resting at our room at the ssr by mid afternoon.
I know we could take a bus to mk and boat to poly but is that the best way to go?

We usually bus to MK and then get on the monorail to get our "monorail fix."

Another option is to walk over to DTD and catch the Poly bus from there.

Another option if you are willing to spend $ is to take a taxi from Sarartoga Springs to the Polynesian.

From SSR to the Floridian was about $16.00 by taxi. I assume it would be similar for the Poly. We just called the front desk guest services and told them we needed to get a taxi.

Or you could bus to Epcot & monorail to Poly.

If you bus to MK & monorail to Poly, the monorail will stop at CR & TTC before Poly. If you bus to Epcot & monorail to Poly, you will have to transfer at the TTC but the Poly will be the next stop.

Whatever you decide, make sure to give yourself at least an hour (if not a little more).

Disney's resort to resort transportation is kind of a pain.

I've done it all ways. I would advise not taking a DTD bus as it takes FOREVER to get to your destination. Taxis are the best way to go

Also, the DTD Marketplace bus depot, which is the one near SSR, currently is closed for rehab. That means hiking from SSR all the way to PI to catch the bus; so it's probably not a good option at this time.

The fastest way, using Disney transportation, would be to bus to MK, and then boat from there to the Poly. It's not what I would consider "fast", but it's faster using WDW's resources than any other combination of routes, including anything to do with the monorail (too many transfers, stops, etc. versus just busing then boating).

As others have said, though, a cab might be worth your $$ in this case, though. A cab would be at least twice as fast in this case as using WDW transportation, I think.
