Is this per Disney Magical Express/ or who do I need to call?
How long a drive?
Do I need a carseat?

No-unfortunately it is not Magical Express(free). DCL runs busses but you do have to pay for transfers. Not sure on the cost but I think it is approx $25-30 per person. Depending on how many are in your party sometimes it is more economical to rent a car or private limo service. Not sure if you need a car seat on the bus. Without traffic it is about an hour drvie-about 60 miles.
for more info check out the cruise forum.

The DCL transfer cost to the Port is $69.00 round trip per person from Orlando International Airport. You could get the ME back to the airport, which is quite a hassle, to pick up the DCL bus and than return to The airport (MCO) to depart for home.

However you can find a car service that will take you from the airport, you would have to set up a place to meet the car service, or Disney to the cruise line. The car service price from the airport would run you $180 - $230, round trip for your entire group, depending on who you contract. Car service from Disney would run you $135 - $160 from Disney. The car service would than return and pick you up at the Port for you ride to MCO. That would be a $100 to $130. price range. So you are talking in the $235. range to be picked up at Disney and dropped off at MCO after the cruise.

Remember if you take the DCL transfers to the Port, from MCO, you pay $69. for each person in your group. 5 persons equal $345.00 from airport to port and return. You could contract a van that holds up to 10 passengers for a significantly less amount than what you would pay to ride the busses to the port. There are extra advantages riding in a car service including stops for beverage, saving time, seat belts and baby seats. Car service will pick you up and drop you off right at the ship and be waiting for you when you leave the ship to take you straight back to MCO.

When we did the DCL we flew in the evening before our cruise. We rented a car at MCO and drove to the Radisson which is right by the Port. We were able to park our car at the hotel and then took their shuttle to the port. After the cruise the hotel shuttle took us back to the hotel and we got in our car and drove to WDW. I'd do that again. The amount of $$ that I would have spent on transfers we were able to get a one night stay at the Radisson and a rental car for the whole time we were there.:thumbsup2

If you're using Disney Cruise Lines then you'll be able to book transportation on their busses from the port to any WDW resort. You can do this prior to cruise by contaction DCL or your travel agent. Also, you can book this transportion while on your cruise. Its a simple process - you get off the ship, retrieve your baggage or have a porter assist you, go through immigration/customs, once outise you go to the counter and they'll direct you to whichever bus will be going to your resort.

I'm not sure what the cost is right now as it may have changed from when we cruised on DCL last.

This is the accurate info. As far as a car seat goes, you won't even be able to use it on the bus as there are no seat belts to secure it.

How are you getting to the port before your cruise? You can book DCL transport from the airport to the port and then from the port to any resort, then use ME from the resort back to the airport. You can do all of those or pick and choose.
