Getting from Pop Century to a water park

I have a trip planned for 2 adults and 1 6-year old for the month of July. I will be at Pop Century for 16 days so I plan on having a couple of lazy days while I am there.

I want to go to the water parks since I booked 10 day park tickets with the water plus option. I didn't get the hopper option. How do I get from Pop Century to the water parks? Can you get a bus from Pop Century to the water parks?

This is my first time on Disney property. I don't know anything about Disney transportation because I only went to Magic Kingdom 1 day last year. I know everything there is to know about the trolley on International Drive, but that's it. I don't drive so I have to rely on Disney's transportation this time. I stayed on Disney property this time because I wanted to spend 10 days in the parks and it would be too expensive from I-Drive since most of the cheaper hotels there don't offer free Disney transportation and the ones that do have a bus leaving at 7:00 p.m. I don't want to leave a theme park until very late, almost until closing.

I also need information on how I can get from Pop Century to Whispering Canyon, what is the easiest way. I also want to know how I can get from Pop to the campground at Fort Wilderness because I want to take my nephew to Trail's End to eat and then stay by the campfire or go to Trail's End for lunch and the petting zoo. What is the easiest way of getting to the petting zoo?

Is it easy to get from a water park to Whispering Canyon if I decide to go straight from the water park to dinner or the campground sing-a-long?

One more question about traveling around, how do I get to Disney Quest? I plan on going there my first evening at the hotel. I have been reading posts and I am thoroughly confused now about Downtown Disney. I read that some things are on the west side. Can you get a bus from Pop to go to Downtown Disney where Disney Quest and especially the shopping area where the Legos store is that kids can play in or do I have to go DTD and then get some sort of there method of transportation from there.

I am trying to get a sense of what I have to do before I really have to do it. I am always planning ahead of time, especially with a 5 year old who will be 6 by the time we go who doesn't like to walk a lot.

I don't know about getting to the other places but the bus's from pop go to the water parks they will have it posted on the front of the bus which one goes where, aswell as the line up sign at the hotel. I know you can take the bus's to everywhere you want to go but not sure which ones and how for that part of your question. Down town disney has a bus for there I just take it and get out wherever it is they let me off LOL then just walked around inside LOL

Pop Century has a bus to all the major theme parks, the two water parks and downtown Disney. The bus stops are clearly marked so you should have no problem finding the right bus. They run about every 20 minutes or so, more frequently duirng busier times like park opening and closing.

Getting to the resorts is more complicated, you need to take a bus to a major park and then a bus from the park to the resort. For wispering canyon I would take the bus to MK and then either the bus or boat to WL. Same thing for the Campground, go via MK. From the water park if you want to go the campground just take the bus to Fort Wilderness rather than the one back to Pop.

You will get a transportation guide when you check in but don't worry its very easy.

Bus to MK, boat to FW. Trails end is right near the dock. For the campfire, you would need to take an internal bus to it. There are signs at the bus stop right by Trails end. Getting back to POP, if MK is closed, you would need to take a bus to DTD and then a bus to POP. There are also busses available at the Trails end bus stop after the HDDR shows when MK is closed. If the timing is right, you could take the POP bus from there.

Yes, take the FW bus from the water park for the sing along. Take the WL bus (depending on the water park it could be the same bus) for WC.

DTD is made up of three sections, Marketplace, PI and West Side. the bus from POP will first stop at the Marketplace ( where is LEGO stor is). The same bus will then stop at the WS/PI bus stop (where DQ is).
