What is the best way to get to the Beach Club following the 9:30pm Hoop-Dee-Doo show?

We will not have a car.

Some people have reported having buses for all resorts waiting for them when they exited the show. In fact back in 10/00 we had a direct bus to DXL which was wonderful(this was after the second show). Last month we did the HDD(again 2nd show) and needed to get back to ASMO. Our most direct route was to take a bus from Pioneer Hall to the main bus stop at FT Wilderness. Then we had to take another bus from there to DTD. This is what most guests were doing regardles of where they were staying. Using DTD as the hub, we then got a bus to ASMO there(which actually had to make a stop to change drivers). The total travel time with waiting for buses was 1 1/2 hours.
I think they should always have a direct bus for each resort(or even combine a few),or at least have extra buses going to DTD, just waiting for the people to exit the show. There was a good crowd of us waiting and waiting for buses at Ft Wilderness, and you could tell people were not too happy about this.

Drive a car. I am serious. The longest wait I ever had for a bus was at the Hoop De Do, that was back in the days when I thought everything was perfect at WDW. It came to an end during that wait. That was a long time ago. There was a group of us that thought we would never see a bus.It was well over an hour.

I've never seen a bus to another resort from HDD, but WDW transporation tends to change a bit every year.

Ordinarily, the bus to Downtown Disney and from there to your resort is the way to go.

WDW transportation will get you anywhere you want to go within the "world" but it may not always be the most direct route.

If you can swing the cost of the car, I say get one also. If not, carry one of the transportation guides with you at all times.

In January there was a bus waiting to go to every resort when we came out of the show. It was so nice and quick. Our back up plan was to get a Taxi!
