How do I get from Magic Kingdom to Kona Cafe in an ecv and from Hollywood studies to Cape May? From what I have read the some boats are not accessible by ecv. Made dining plans before I broke my foot and now am trying to figure out how to get from place to place. I can walk some so I could walk from the boat to kona but not sure what to do with the ecv during that time.

From Hollywood studios, take the launch and get off at the Yacht Club/Beach Club. Once off the launch, head east on the sidewalk to get to the Beach Club for Cape May.

Can an ecv go on the launch?

Sure can!

In both cases, you probably can just ride your ECV over. From MK, there's a walkway to GF, and the walkway continues on to Polynesian. Alternately, you can take the ferry from MK directly to the other side, then bear right, directly into the Polynesian by Moorea.

Absolutely! During Covid, they were only allowing 2 at the same time but hopefully that has/will change back to 4 at a time. They place a ramp down for you to get onto the launch and then you go inside and park toward the window marked with a handicap symbol. Just take it slow and follow directions. They will help you get on.

You can easily just take the walking paths, they will generally be faster than the boats. But the boats are accessible as well. They only have a couple that aren't. You can also take the bus if they are running.

MK -> Kona your choices (currently) are the (new!) walking path that goes from MK to GF (and on to Poly), or you can take the ferry to the TTC, and then it's a short drive to Poly. Poly is currently under heavy refurbishment, and the Monorail station there is completely gone right now. You can also just catch the bus from MK to Poly...

HS -> to Cape May the easiest choice is probably the Friendships that run the waters between HS & Epcot; just make sure that you are headed in the right direction, or else you will make the "grand tour!". There is also the walking path, and again - you have the option of just taking the bus from HS to Beach Club. The "Friendships" use the same portable ramp for ECVs and other mobility devices that the Monorails use (and some of the other boats around Disney World). It's an aluminum ramp with handles for the CM to place it - it's a bit noisy to drive on and off, but quite safe.

Remember to use the "turtle" speed on your rental unit when you are boarding/disembarking any Disney transportation (including the Monorail, Skyliner, Boats and Buses)

And make sure you reserve your rental ECV early if you are visiting during the 50th anniversary time period - outside vendors may be busier than normal during this time.
