Getting from Magic Kingdom to Geyser Point

I just saw a food blogger's review of Geyser Point at the Wilderness Lodge and now I really want to check it out during our December trip! I have a couple questions...
1. What would be the best way to get to Geyser Point from Magic Kingdom? We will have a car.
2. How much time will this take out of the day for me? My husband and I just want to grab a drink or two by the water, no eating.

Take the boat from MK to WL. Athe boat ride is about 15 minutes each way. So, I would allow 30 minutes each way when including possible wait for the next bus.

You will have to figure out how long it would take for your drinks.

How you get there will depend on what you plan to do when you are finished.
Will you go back to MK? If so, take the boat over to WL from MK, and then back again when done.
If you plan to head somewhere else when done, drive over to WL.

It shouldn't take long, especially if you plan to boat over. Geyser Point is near the boat dock. So it will be a quick walk over
