Getting from LAX to Disneyland

We are thinking about renting a car when we go to DL in April. Has anyone done something differently? Is renting a car the cheapest and best option? Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

It depends... How many days are you going to be there, Do you need a car, and how many people in your party... Once you get to your hotel do you still need a car? If not you may consider a shuttle bus, or van service to get you there and back.

We really like Disneyland Express. We don't need a car while we're there and they don't require car seats so it really simplifies things for us.
