Getting from Ft. Wilderness to MGM

We are actually renting a car but my plan is to eat at the fort wilderness trail's end buffet then have my parents take my son back to the hotel (SOG) with the car. My BF and I are planning on a carriage ride then head to MGM to see the osborne lights. What is the best way to get there from Fort wilderness? what is the best way to get back from MGM to Shades of Green?

Just an FYI, when you drive to Fort Wilderness, you will still need to take an internal bus from the Outpost Depot (parking lot) to the Settlement Depot (location of Pioneer Hall, and Trails End).

From the Settlement Depot, there is a direct bus to the Disney-MGM Studios.

From the Studios, there is a bus in the outside bus parking lot to Shades of Green.
