I have early lunch reservations in Downtown Disney (T-Rex). Afterwards, we want to head straight to MK. What's the best way to get to MK, taking Disney Transportation?

Any suggestions about maybe taking the Monorail or even boat? (We've never been on the Monorail or boat at Disney). Or is there a better way? Faster way? :confused3

Open to any suggestions.

Thanks!! :)

Well, you could take the bus to either the Polynesian or GF from DTD...then either boat or monorail to MK. You can also take the bus to CR, and either walk or monorail to MK. Or the bus to WL...boat to MK.

Downtown Disney to a theme park via Disney Transport always requires making a connection at a resort. In some cases (e.g. above) one of the legs can be done on foot (no pun intended).

Riding all the way, the near worst case time to allow (which Disney generally suggests) is 90 minutes. Near record time would be about 35 minutes.

The easiest way would be to take a bus to the Contemporary and walk from there. :)

Or, if you had a little extra time or really wanted to ride the monorail, you could take a bus to the Contemporary and then go inside and upstairs to ride the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. :)

Just letting the OP know that the Contemporary and Polynesian share a bus when leaving Downtown Disney and that the Contemporary is always the 1st stop among those resorts.
