Getting from CSR to AKL

Greetings to all!
I am a long time lurker and appreciate the wealth of knowledge I have gained from reading all your posts. Finally decided to get off my butt and register here. I am planning our 5th trip to WDW for the end of August and we are staying at the Coronado Springs. We would like to visit AKL and have a lunch or dinner at Boma. How can we get from CSR to AKL? Would it be easier to get there from one of the parks? The return trip would need to be back to the Coronado. One more question-do the new MYW passes have room charging privleges? Thanks in advance for your responses!

Hi DisDad, and welcome to the DIS!

It would be easiest to get to AKL from a park. There is no direct bus service from resort to resort. You need to change buses at a park or at DTD.

Fastest way to get from CSR to AKL and back would be by taxi.

Also, if im not mistaken, Tickets are not tied to your room. So if you decide to charge something to your room, you show them your room ID card.

If you don't want to use a taxi, take the bus to the AK and then over to AKL. The lodge is only a few minutes away.

FYI, Boma's doesn't serve lunch.

If your park tickets are included with your room key (as ours were recently) you can then set them us for charging as well.
