I HAD planned on the TGV ... but I cannot order online due to the fact that someone has to be home to sign for the tickets......and the U.S. website doesnt have a way of choosing seats......and if I want to pick the tickets up at the Airport my credit card may not work in the Kiosks so I would have to get on line ...... anyhow...... I think I may wait until we arrive and just go buy them at the window.....I believe I have read that they speak English.

Anyway....these are my options:

Shared Shuttle 110 Euros
Private Shuttle 130 Euros
TGV: Prepurchased 108 Euros
TGV: Purchased on that day, the problem with this is the price goes up, Ive priced it out for next week on a Tuesday to Sunday (the days we are traveling) and it can be as low as 110 Euros up to 160 Euros

Which would you do?

Oh, definitely a shuttle. If you want to keep costs down then opt for a shared one ~ you may find it ends up being a private one anyway. :goodvibes

yep, definitely shared shuttle at those prices :).

Can I ask.....is the shared shuttle price you quote one way?

Thanks

No that would be round trip...... And that is probably the least expensive shuttle not necessarily the most recommended shuttle.

For those that have taken shuttles.....where do they meet you? Do they meet you with those little signs with your name on it? If so, do they follow you to find your luggage? How much do you tip the driver when he drops you off?

Thanks....I am leaning towards a shuttle (not sure shared or private) for the way TO DLP and then TGV for the way back......I figure for the way back I can go purchase the ticket in the DLP train station with little or no lines....

I must say I am surprised at the shared shuttle being the "winner" on this poll as from all I have read I should avoid them since they stop at many pickup and drop offs???

We flew into CDG from the US and used John from Ezyshuttle. Very easy. He picked us up right outside the gate area and we were off in no time at all. He dropped us right at the Disneyland Hotel. We also used him for a return trip to Orly and again, everything was easy as could be. After a long flight, it was very welcome to not have to worry about anything. Plus, he was totally pleasant and helpful, the van was clean, didn't smell like smoke and most importantly, he had a carseat for my daughter already installed for us. Couldn't have been nicer.

I used the TGV and just picked up my tickets when we arrived in Paris. It was fast, only 10 minutes and it was beyond easy.

A shared shuttle doesn't pickup and drop off many times - it picks up maybe 2 parties, and so would only have at the most 2 different drop-offs. I've not heard of anyone who's paid a shared shuttle price having to share the shuttle with any more than one other party :confused3 (and often you pay the shared shuttle price and don't share with anyone).

Its the VEA coach which has numerous pickups and drop offs.

you collect your luggage at the carousel, then as you exit your terminal, the driver of the shuttle will be waiting for you with your name on a sign. You follow him to your shuttle, and you tip what you think is appropriate (ie for good service).

Thank you for your help. I think this will be fun for us. My girls will feel so special lol!!
